Description:

Manganous manganix oxide, also known as black manganese ore, active manganese oxide, is an oxide. It is black square crystal, which is crystallized by burning. Relative density 4.856. Found in nature as black manganese ore, it is the most stable oxide. Fully heated products no longer absorb oxygen after cooling and are stable in the air. The crystals are inclined spinel body centered cubic lattice. It is prepared by burning manganese oxides, hydroxides or sulfates, carbonates in air or oxygen to about 1000 ° C.

Application:

1. Used in the electronics industry to produce soft magnetic ferrite, used as the magnetic core, disk and tape for storing information in electronic computers, telephone transformers and commercial inductors, TV regression transformers, magnetic heads, inductors, magnetic amplifiers, saturated inductors, antenna rods, etc.

2. For the manufacture of optical glass and low temperature thermistor manufacturing.

3. For the production of manganese, zinc, iron soft magnetic ferrite.

4. Used as a pigment for some paints or coatings. Paint or coatings containing manganese tetroxide have better corrosion resistance when sprayed on steel than those containing titanium dioxide or iron oxide.
